The classification of garbage recycling

Abstract

With the development of the economy, the problem of environment pollution

has become worse and worse and heaps of garbage can be seen here and

here. We should recycling of these resources and classification and make use

of it better.

With the development of the economy, the problem of environment

pollution has become worse and worse and heaps of garbage can be seen

here and here. According to some statistics of relevant researches, in recent

ten years the average annual growth rate of city garbage in our country is

8.989. The weight of the garbage that have it been disposed of for many years,

is up to six billion tons. They have occupied about five hundred million square

meters of the land. What on earth are these household garbage? Are there

some resources can be recycled? What is the utility proportion of these

reclaimed garbage in an effective and advanced way?

Although our country is abundant in certain resources the problem of

resources shortage is still serious. But the quantity of resources wasted each

year is alarming. According to the statistics of Ministry of Internal Trade, the

annual resources loss of the whole which is caused by these garbage is up to

25~30 billion yuan. Each year, there will be few tons of copper waste bred by

deserted cartridges of ball point pen hundreds of thousands of zinc waste

caused by deserted batteries , tens of thousands of tons begot by the

toothpaste, and uncountable paper waste. On the surface, garbage is the

finality of consumption. But for the society and human beings, especially in a

tine that people are aware of the importance of sustainable development, more

significance should be attached to the recycling of garbage.

In the town which we are living in, garbage can be seen on both sides of

the streets. Some are packed by plastics, others are littered on the ground

arbitrarily. Some out of date medicines, obsolete thermographs are missed

mixed many medicine bottles and infusing outfits and they are all put together

in a corner of the hospital, waste battery. Old machines broken glasses as well

as cluster planks hemp up in a corner of the factory.

These shocking scenes remind me of the words that I got from a

sanitation workers. He said that all these mountainous garbage will be send to

certain places and be disposed by burning or some other ways. How much

land should be turned to dump areas to dispose these mass we garbage? How

many tons of poisonous gas will be produced and work unknown hard on

people health? If we continue to turn these limited resources into garbage and

then to dump or burn them, can the coming generations find requisite

resources to go on the life on earth.

Household garbage can be divided into these types, harmful garbage

organic garbage and inorganic garbage. Harmful garbage mainly include

deserted butteries, fluorescent lamps, mercury thermometers, deserted paint

barrels corrosive detergents, hospital garbage, such as peels of fruits and

vegetables, the remains of each meal. Inorganic garbage mainly include

destined papers, plastics, glasses, metals, textiles as well as some large

garbage, such as old cars, wastes of house decorations. Moot of the only

garbage can be recycled often classification and collecting.

Callable garbage mainly include waste papers, plastics glasses, metals

and textiles. Waste papers include newspaper journals books, parking papers,

office papers, advertising papers and so on. Plastics mainly contain plastics

bags, disposable plastic tableware, toothbrushes cups and bottles. Glasses

mainly include multifarious ampulla, glass fragments mirrors, lamp bulbs etc.

Metals mainly contain zip-top can, toothpaste tubes, and other metal products.

Textiles mainly include desert garments, tablecloths cloth shoes and so on.

As a member of the society, I think that these are many things we can do

to make a small but useful contribution to the garbage recycling program. If we

are desperate for effective ways to go on this program, I reckon that these

three things can be useful: firstly, the propaganda of garbage classification

should be strengthen and made people form the idea that garbage is also a

kind of resources. Secondly: classified litter bins should be installed in some

important sectors and be cleaned in time. Thirdly, sanitation workers should

dispose these classified garbage in time and make full use of these resources.
